Brothers and Sisters,

Welcome to the beginning of the 2008-09 school year.  Hope everyone is getting off to a good start.

We will be having our meeting on Saturday, October 18th.  It will be held at AFSCME Council 89.  The meeting will be from 10:00 to 11:30. We will be serving Hot Dogs after the meeting.

There will be many things discussed on our progress over the summer. We will be updating our grievances and convey where we stand on the ones in arbitrations. We also will be holding an election for two Trustee positions. I hope to see you there.

The address for our website is www.wssdlocal2865.org.  We will be sharing information on a fundraiser for our students in the West Shore School District. I am hoping to have all the information for this fundraiser at our meeting in October.

We have all been working together and getting many things accomplish. When we pull together, we get things done.
