Volunteers and Support Needed to Raise Money for Local Charities

Our Local 2865 is hoping to raise money and support for Local Charities in our area. I, Paul Boyer Jr, have been looking for easy fundraisers and simple volunteering needs in our community.  I understand that given money and time can be hard now a days, but I am looking into programs and situtations that will require little to none of your own money and short shifts at events that needs Volunteers.  Some of the fundraisers and events you may find yourself wanting to be apart other anyway.  Please email me and tell me what types of fundraisers and events you would like to be apart of.  If you are interested in any of the fundraisers and events listed below, contact me for more information.  As a community, we all need to help each other out.  Someday you may be on the receiving end of a donation.  Thank you for time.

Rumors and talk come up all the time about the Union and District.  If you hear anything that you are not sure about please don't spread it.  Call a Steward, so they can research the item.  The Steward will find out the truth and report back to you.  Rumors and stories can start by anyone.  We all need to communicate with each other in a way that is proper and appropriate for the situation.  Bulletin boards are being setup, email accounts are being collected, meetings are being arranged so all Support Staff Employees have a chance to get the truth and facts.  Please remember that we all have to unite in order to maintain a good work environment.  Someday we all will have a GREAT work environment.  Things take time to work out.  NO ONE IS ALONE ANYMORE.
